Missions
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

We the Church at Myrtle Lake, take this command to heart. God has chosen people who are willing to be used as the avenue by which His love is spread to the world. We relish every opportunity to reach in and have a proactive effect for the Kingdom. In order to follow God's Word, we focus our missions outreach by identifying the areas seen in Acts 1:8.
Jerusalem is where we focus our mission endeavors in the community of Land O' Lakes, FL. Vacation Bible School, and AWANA are all examples of our Jerusalem missions.
Samaria takes us nationwide and provides opportunities to minister through missions here in the United States. Alaska, Georgia and New Mexico, are all places in our Samaria that we've been on mission.
Judea places our focus on the larger Tampa Bay area and throughout the entire state of Florida. Back to School Drives, and Canned Food Drives are examples of how we are on mission beyond our Jerusalem.
The Ends of the Earth gives us our international vision to go to places where the customs and cultures are much different than our own. This will really get you out of your comfort zone. Brazil, Paraguay, and Dominican Republic are just some of the places we go on mission.
We are actively, through our Global Outreach Team, looking for those opportunities in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the Ends of the Earth. We are always 'on mission' with the message of Jesus Christ.
