Elbert W. Nasworthy, Jr. is Senior Pastor, Myrtle Lake Baptist Church, Land O Lakes, FL and host of "In God's Grace" radio program heard on WTBN-AM 570 & 910 which covers much of central Florida. He and his wife Elaine have been married for 40 years and have two grown children. Their daughter, Lacey, is married to Robert Cobb; they have a son Anthony Robert and a daughter Isabella Sophia and reside in Valrico, Florida. Their son Erik is also married; he and his wife Amandawith their daughter Emersyn Lee reside in Odessa, Florida.

He came to be the Senior Pastor of Myrtle Lake in May, 2002 from West Hillsborough Baptist Church, Tampa, having served there as Senior Pastor for 4 years. Prior to his time at West Hillsborough, he served as Associate Pastor of Finance and Administration, First Baptist Church of Citrus Park.

As the First Vice President of the Florida Baptist Convention in 2008, Pastor Nasworthy has also served as a member of the State Board of Missions as a representative of the Tampa Bay Baptist Association. During his tenure on that board he chaired committees on Budget Allocations and Denominational Policy.

He has also served as the Moderator of the Tampa Bay Baptist Association and as President of the Pastors Conference. Pastor Nasworthy serves on various committees of the convention, association and foundations.

He was the speaker at an annual meeting of the association, and has been a featured speaker and a guest speaker in other churches elsewhere including Alaska, Chile, Paraguay, Guatemala and Brazil.
